Welcome to the new MistyMate:

FAQ - Stream Of Water From Nozzle

The nozzle on my Misty Mate blows out in a steady stream instead of a fine mist, what can I do?

Answer:

Personal Misters:
This ususally indicates a clogged nozzle; these nozzles are very sensitive to hard water, and you should only use purified or distilled water in your mister to preserve the life of the nozzle.

If tapping the nozzle on a hard surface to dislodge any mineral accumulation does not fix the problem, try soaking the nozzle in a small amount of distilled white vinegar overnight. In the event these methods do not restore your nozzle's function, you may need to purchase a new nozzle. Repair Kits can be found here. For further assistance, please contact Customer Service.

Patio systems: To clean nozzles unscrew from the system and soak the nozzles in Vinegar for about 30 minutes. Rinse the nozzles thoroughly with warm water, and if they are still clogged, try
tapping the nozzle on a hard surface to dislodge any mineral accumulation.  Screw back into the mist line. If this does not work on your nozzle(s) contact Customer Service.
